Jamestown New York: Audubon Community Nature Center

On my first visit to the Audubon Community Nature Center in Jamestown, New York, the staff was eager to help, and parking was free and plentiful. Amazing volunteers maintain attractive perennial and native planting beds abutting the Center building. The trails are superb, guiding you through the meadow, wetlands, pond margins, forest and more. Knowledgeable park staffers have insured that native plants offer an attractive menu of butterflies, and because of that, I have had great photographic success. This is one of the best Audubon Centers east of the Mississippi. Ask for Jennifer, and plan, plan, plan!
